.net framework on mac OS??

Hi,

 

does anyone know if the framework can be installed on a mac?

 

or if there are any plans to do so?

 

if it is available, are there limitations on the libraries you can use or anything like that?

The current framework cannot be installed on Mac, although there is a version in development for *nix systems (http://www.go-mono.net). In the future, an implementation may be made for MacOS too, since MacOSX is based on the Linux kernel.
