KenpoMatt Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 Just a thought - it might be a good idea to have a subject area specifically related to Crystal Reports Quote
pendragon Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 I agree, a lot of my problems at the moment are related to Crystal reports Quote
*Gurus* Derek Stone Posted September 3, 2003 *Gurus* Posted September 3, 2003 There was a thread awhile ago stating that a new forum for Crystal Reports would probably be added once there was a steady flow of questions on the topic. It's my opinion that the flow is already here, but I won't be holding my breath. Quote Posting Guidelines
*Experts* Nerseus Posted September 4, 2003 *Experts* Posted September 4, 2003 I would normally agree, but Crystal has a very active knowledge base of issues plus its own set of forums. If you bought a copy of Crystal (I don't think the free version with VS counts), you can use Answers by email as well. -Ner Quote "I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. KenpoMatt Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 It is good that Crystal ecisions offers a forum. But, I have to say that the knowledge base is very weak. They do offer tips and samples. But, they are usually so basic that they don't really get you going. Anyway, it was just a thought. Quote
Leaders John Posted September 4, 2003 Leaders Posted September 4, 2003 For the time being just put any CR questions in the Database/XML forum until we figure out if we need to add another forum, or subforum. *Gurus* divil Posted September 4, 2003 *Gurus* Posted September 4, 2003 Reporting has been added to the list of topics covered by the Database forum. Quote MVP, Visual Developer - .NET Now you see why evil will always triumph - because good is dumb. My free .NET Windows Forms Controls and Articles
