wyrd Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 The best place to find book reviews is to search Amazon.com. They have tons of reader reviews that will keep you busy for hours. Quote Gamer extraordinaire. Programmer wannabe.
*Experts* Nerseus Posted August 22, 2003 *Experts* Posted August 22, 2003 It comes with a 500+ page manual, including tutorials and a getting started section ... didn't that help? -Nerseus Quote "I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. rohankk54 Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Actually, im a beginner to but those didnt help :-/ u need a book to start of in my opinoin. I looked at some of he books that pentium posted, but im not sure of the content. Quote
Mr Plough Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Get a book for Max4 rather than Max5. As a beginner it won't matter, the fundamentals are the same. The 'Inside 3d Studio Max' books are quite good, and will probably be fairly cheap now that max5 is out. Quote
