Please Help with Data View

we are binding an array to a datalist

 

and on datalist's selected index changed we fire an event

 

but dont know how to get the array item of the instance fired

 

its easy with dataset

 

we can set a datkeyfield in datalist declaration and when even index is changed we can get that data key field

but since array has no filds problem is how to reference the data
