watherton Posted August 13, 2003 Posted August 13, 2003 I am currently developing locally using version 1.1 of the .net framework. We use an outside company to house all our websites, services etc. The current version of the framework on the server is 1.0, and there is a site that has been developed using version 1.0. If i upgrade the server from version 1.0 to version 1.1 of the .net framework, will this have any effect of the web site that was design to use version 1.0 Any feedback or links would be appreciated. Kind regards Wayne Quote
WebJumper Posted August 13, 2003 Posted August 13, 2003 You can install both Frameworks on the server, 1.0 and 1.1 Quote
watherton Posted August 13, 2003 Author Posted August 13, 2003 Webjumper, thanks for that. I am aware that you can have both versions running along side each other, but as requested in my original post, will a project running in v1.0 be effected if v1.1 was installed. I appreciate your response, but if i going to corrupt a multi million pounds project I neee a little more for an answer. Cheers Quote
