wyrd Posted August 11, 2003 Posted August 11, 2003 (edited) At some point, those who are interested in programming a game start to wonder where they can get graphics. Being a programmer and not a 3D graphics artist you can try and make your own, or you can search for countless hours trying to find just the right sprites for your game. What sucks is finally finding well made sprites, then realizing they have no combat animatons. :( I want to compile a list of decent sites where folks can d/l sprites for their games. So if you know of any please post the URL here. Here's a small list of some decent ones I've found; http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~mmm/spritesinc/index.html http://www.zacarias.mainpage.net/ http://sua.virtualave.net/gpacks.html http://www.rpgicons.com/ http://www.gaminggroundzero.com/ http://charas-project.net/ http://www.rpg2000.4players.de:1061/ Edited August 12, 2003 by wyrd Quote Gamer extraordinaire. wyrd Posted August 18, 2003 Author Posted August 18, 2003 If anyone is working on a platformer I made a dungeon tileset that you can use if you want (editted a top-down 2D tileset that I found) http://www.danpeverill.com/misc/tileset.gif Since I'm on the subject, I'm in the need for a platformer forest tileset. If anyone finds one (or a top down tileset that might be edittable to fit my needs) please let me know. Quote Gamer extraordinaire. Programmer wannabe.
