I'm with you. You can't even turn it off... even in classic style it's just a gray version of that awful tube design.

Wayyyy too many gradients...

Looks like microsoft need to learn about the power of subtlety in UI design :).

And I thought the vs.net autohiding panels looked pig ugly!

...Searching for air sickness bag...

Those are some pretty nasty color schemes! I do, however, like the layout of it. It's kind of nice. Gives me a few ideas! >;)

Being smarter than you look is always better than looking smarter than you are.

As we're talking about this... can't we really turn that style off??

I had, once, a beta version installed but my eyes and my inteligence made me uninstall it :D

It looks like a very good product and a significant update to Office (unlike OfficeXP which was basically just an update to make the menus look good :p). I would never uninstall something because it looked bad (unless it was so terrible it made it hard to use), and I'm sure I will get used to it.

I just wish Microsoft would pick a style and stick with it. The OfficeXP style looks great and professional, I can't see why they would want to drop it after only one generation of products which use it.

I just uninstalled hopping the final release will come up with other or others styles... :D But it looks real bad...

It seems like a interface I would have made for my very first app ... real bad... :p
