icon

when i add the icon i wont it to have in the form settings its only the icon when u start the program and is in the top left hand corner. How do i add the icon the the icon u see in the folders, plus how do i edit the things like when u right click properies screen all the stuff like version language those things? how do i edit them?

TO change the icon of your executable go to your project's properties, then in select the Common Properties on the left, and then the select Build from the list of options.

To help you edit things like that VS.NET automatically creates a file named AssemblyInfo.vb which has place for you to put all that info.

i found the program info alright, thanks, but i cant find the place you said to go to the change the icon. can you maybe explain it a different way or something

Go to your Solution Explorer, right click on your project, select properties, on the left there should be a treeview, select Common Properties, then from the list select Build. It should be there.

Solution explorer is the little window on the right where you see all your project files, projects and things like that.

Changing form ICons is a big problem coz mostly people when change FormICon thinks that this would apply to the application. but the Aplication uses the other icon
