Since game programming is not a real subject in itself, but a broader subject made up of many different essential elements (graphics, maths, input, sound, etc), you should outlike what you think a game should have and research each task individually. I'm not exactly sure what you'd expect for an "RPG Game Tutorial".

 

Believe me, you'll learn a lot more this way.

oh btw, on one of my tutorial's on my site, there will be one that teaches you how to make an RPG, and it will be most likely GDI+(using vb.net)

umm actually my site's gonna take some time until i make it so that the tutorials teach you game programming(im starting from scratch

 

so

 

why dont you search on google for "game programming tutorial vb.net" ,its pretty helpful.. at least for me... good luck learning game programming :)
