Guest bobba buoy Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 I am just getting started in .Net. I am running a Web server (Win 2000 Server) and an XP Pro box on my network. I do my work on the XP box. I currently have two web sites on the server and I work with one of them (soon to be both) from my machine using Visual InterDev. I want to gradually take advantage of the .NET capabilities but am not sure how to set it up so I can run (and test) locally. Does anyone know of a site where I could get some help on this? Thanks! *Experts* mutant Posted June 7, 2003 *Experts* Posted June 7, 2003 You dont need anything except .NET framework installed on your server, IIS, and ASP.NET enabled. This page has steps to install ASP.NET on your server. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpconaspnetplatformrequirements.asp Quote
