wyrd Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 I was wondering if we could get database sub forums similar to the sub forums of language specific. IE: Transact SQL OleDb Then when more db specific classes are released, add them as sub forums... Transact SQL Access OleDb The forums aren't too popular yet, so perhaps an idea for the future. Moderators Robby Posted May 30, 2003 Moderators Posted May 30, 2003 Yeah, I would say maybe in the future, for now we don't have enough posts to seperate XML and database. Quote Visit...Bassic Software

That would be interesting :) I thought I read somewhere that they might in the future. Regardless of that, they seem to be adding specific classes for various other DBMS. Currently there's Sql, OleDb, and Oracle. I would imagine MySql would be coming soon, and perhaps Sybase. Anyway.. still not too popular yet. Just an idea for the future. Quote Gamer extraordinaire. *Experts* mutant Posted June 22, 2003 *Experts* Posted June 22, 2003 I think they should make one for MySQL fast, it popular and widely used. And I was just reading some interesting arctile about MySQL getting a big money boost from joining some big German developer business, to provide databases for their costumers. Future looks bright for MySQL :). Quote
