access to registry key denied

hi,

 

I'm trying to register an assembly coded in VB.NET using regasm tool. I have already created a strong name with sn tool.

When I execute the following command

regasm WindCallVBNetfrmCom.dll /tlb:WindCallVBNetfrmCom.tlb

 

I get an error

 

RegAsm error: Access to the registry key is denied.

 

am I doing anything wrong. pls lemme know

Do you have ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS to System. otherwise you might not be able to write any thing to registry
