I wasn't suprised but I think that the install program should have either (a) listed all the things that needed uninstalling first or (b) had the option to do the uninstall itself.

think I asked this before.....but have been asleep a lot since...

 

I'm on VS Pro have been since January. Should I be considering a move to 2003 or leave it for now?

yep....order placed, but a 28 day delivery window????

 

28 days? I wish mine came in 28 days... I placed my order on May 2!. The closest shipping date in June 14 as i was notified, but this doesnt mean that it wont be shipped later...

A co worker of mine did some experiencing with .NET 2003 and came to the conclusion that not much is gained.

 

The app won't start up faster.

The IDE won't start up faster.

On the fly coding while debugging is not contained in the new version.

 

What's the benefit then ?
