How to deploy custom controls so that they are added to the toolbox?

Is it possible to make a installation program that adds my custom control to the toolbox under a seperate tab?

 

Like:

 

windows forms

- listcontrol

- button

myNewTab

- myListControl

- myButton

 

Have looked at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/downloads/samples/automation.aspx But didn't find anything useful....

This question came up on the Windows Forms Forums, and I don't think it's possible. You can manipulate the VS.NET toolbox from within a designer but not from an external program.
