aewarnick Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 (edited) Created 64x64 cursor but does not even work on win98 I think there is a registry edit needed here but I am not sure to fix this problem. The cursor shows up on xp but not on win98. Does anyone know what is going on? Edited May 9, 2003 by aewarnick Quote C#
*Gurus* divil Posted May 9, 2003 *Gurus* Posted May 9, 2003 I didn't think *any* version of windows supported icons of that size. I know XP can use 48x48 icons. aewarnick Posted May 9, 2003 Author Posted May 9, 2003 I am sorry divil, I meant to say cursor not icon. Quote C#

steved Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 WinXP supports some monstrous cursors and icons (The limit is either 64*64 or 128*128, I believe). Still no PNG icons, though. ;) Win98, on the other hand, doesn't. I don't think a base install of Win98 can handle 48*48 or 64*64 icons/cursors, but there may be some MS power tools available to give it this functionality. Now the obligatory question: Why do you want a 64*64 cursor? Quote zig?

*Gurus* divil Posted May 10, 2003 *Gurus* Posted May 10, 2003 I'm pretty sure Win98 doesn't support icons or cursors over 32x32 pixels. Quote MVP, Visual Developer - .NET Now you see why evil will always triumph - because good is dumb. My free .NET Windows Forms Controls and Articles
