hi all...i made my own web browser program in VB.net and i was just wondering if it was possible to prevent Internet Explorer from opening up when you click a link that opens a new browser window. i want it to open up in one of *MY* browser forms. i just don't know how i'd be able to intercept the url before IE opens up...if anyone has any clue of what this mess is that i'm talkin about, please drop a line :)

thanks,

dave

youd need to set your browser to be the program associatd with html and all other web docs. This would mean that whenever a web link is clicked in any app your browser would be loaded tho. I dont know any way of intercepting it other wise.
