*Experts* Volte Posted April 13, 2003 *Experts* Posted April 13, 2003 I tried to use 'p o s' as a variable name in some VB code, and the forum censored it out. Seems odd. :-\ [edit]Bah, the censor nailed me again.[/edit] Quote
*Gurus* divil Posted April 13, 2003 *Gurus* Posted April 13, 2003 That does seem a bit overkill for a censor. Quote MVP, Visual Developer - .NET Now you see why evil will always triumph - because good is dumb. My free .NET Windows Forms Controls and Articles
*Gurus* Thinker Posted April 13, 2003 *Gurus* Posted April 13, 2003 So if I take it out, will I later on find a bit of code where Volte refers to divil's pos control? Quote Posting Guidelines
Leaders quwiltw Posted April 13, 2003 Leaders Posted April 13, 2003 Thanks for putting it in context Thinker, I was having a really hard time figuring out why in the world it would be censored:) Quote --tim
Heiko Posted April 16, 2003 Posted April 16, 2003 Hm. I still don't get it. Is offensive somewhere in the world? Probably :-) But there's a helluva lot of phrases that are offensive this place or the other all over the world. I wish the censor would allow as much as possible. I can only think of a handful of words to filter out. My 2c. Heiko Quote .nerd
