Administrators AWS Posted December 29, 2001 Administrators Posted December 29, 2001 I added 2 new styles. Let me know what you think. I'm going to get familiar with this software for a little longer before I change over. So many new toys to play with that I just have to get used to them all. Attached is a style file. If you want to learn how to make them download this and check it out. Open it with your favorite text editor, mine is pico, but notepad will work. If you upload one post here so I can grab it. Make sure you give it a good name.;) Bob Schwarz, Sr. Bob Schwarz, Sr. Xtreme .Net Talk Me @ Twitter - Network @ Twitter
*Experts* Volte Posted December 30, 2001 *Experts* Posted December 30, 2001 One thing I don't like is the similarity between the new posts and no new posts... that'll be switched to the folders eventually right?
Administrators AWS Posted December 30, 2001 Author Administrators Posted December 30, 2001 When there is a new reply an arrow icon appears next to the post. By clicking on that icon you'll go directly to the new replies. I will have new icons to show when there is new posts in each forum. I just have to find the right ones. I want a set of buttons like WinXP has for close, minimize, maximize. You know the red, green yellow ones. The icons I ripped are too small. I need them just a bit bigger. I'll find a set. Flyguy Posted January 3, 2002 Posted January 3, 2002 I do have an archive with all XP icons in one big zip file. Mail me and I will send this file.
*Gurus* Thinker Posted January 16, 2002 *Gurus* Posted January 16, 2002 Working with VolteFace and doing some testing on a preliminary style editor for this forum, I have recreated the Volte2 style from the old forum. You can try it out under the name VolteRed. Feedback on problems you see send to me, feedback on aesthetics, send to VolteFace. ;) Posting Guidelines
*Experts* Volte Posted January 16, 2002 *Experts* Posted January 16, 2002 It's looking great Thinker! Hope to get this thing working in the near future so we can recreate more of the old styles... Speaking of which, no-one here would happen to have any of the old .css files from the old forum, would they?
*Experts* Volte Posted January 16, 2002 *Experts* Posted January 16, 2002 I just noticed a small bug -- all the stuff in

tags is a bit large, and everything after the code seems to be abnormally large as well.
*Gurus* Thinker Posted January 16, 2002 *Gurus* Posted January 16, 2002 re: VolteFace I think it is either an illusion, or you still have some things messed up on your computer. Here are the tags I see at the start and end of a [ code ] block. <blockquote><pre><font face="verdana, arial, helvetica" size="1" >code:</font> </pre><font face="verdana, arial, helvetica" size="2"></blockquote> These are the normal tags that are placed all through the forum pages. *Gurus* Thinker Posted January 16, 2002 *Gurus* Posted January 16, 2002 re: ChiefRedBull Chief, was there any one of the four you consider your best and favorite? It is not an exact science converting css into style files and I probably wouldn't do more than one of them right now. Posting Guidelines
Administrators AWS Posted January 29, 2002 Author Administrators Posted January 29, 2002 Two new styles. Black and White. Nothing fancy just something plain for users that want something simple and easy on the eyes. To change to one of them head into the control panel and edit your options.
