.NET and IIS conflict

Hi all,

I used the 60 day trial copy of Visual Basic and it served me well until I bought the real thing. When I installed it, anytime I want to create or open a web application, it gives me this error.

The default Web access mode for this project is set to file share, but the project folder at 'htt://localhost/WebApplication1' cannot be opened with 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebApplication1. The error returned was:

Unable to create Web project 'WebApplication1'. The file path 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebApplication1' does not correspond to the URL 'http://localhost/WebApplication1'. The two need to map to the same server location. HTTP Error 404: Object Not Found

What would you like to do?

* Retry using a different file share path

Location: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebApplication1

* Try to open the project with FrontPage Server Extensions

I have tried to change the security options for ISS but that hasn't helped things. Does anyone know what I can do?

Thanks

Nanfa
