cugone Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 I seem to remember reading the MSDN somewhere that there was another method to download files from URIs other than using the webclient object. I'm trying to download some raw php files but every time I use the webclient object the server interprets them as an HTTP request and instead serves the default web page that the php file builds and not the php code itself. Any suggestions? Using .NET 2005 Quote
Administrators PlausiblyDamp Posted September 20, 2008 Administrators Posted September 20, 2008 If the files are being served over http then the sever will always be interpretting them as http requests - that is the purpose of the files being hosted on the server. Do you know if the server does support other methods of access or is http the only one?
