Nate Bross Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Why isn't there an additional Sub-Form for The XNA Framework? It is different than Managed DirectX 9.0c... Just wondering... Administrators PlausiblyDamp Posted May 20, 2008 Administrators Posted May 20, 2008 Probably because nobody has mentionwed it before ;) If there is enough interest in one then one can be created. Nate Bross Posted May 20, 2008 Author Posted May 20, 2008 Fair enough, is it possible that since there is no forum that people go elsewhere? Diesel Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 XNA is getting popular. Ok, now what about wcf, wf, wpf, linq forums. Quote
Nate Bross Posted May 20, 2008 Author Posted May 20, 2008 We could go Sub-Forum Crazy. Granular to the level that there is never more than a few posts in a sub-forum because they are so specific. Quote ~Nate ___________________________________________ Please use the [vb]/[cs] tags on posted code. Leaders snarfblam Posted May 20, 2008 Leaders Posted May 20, 2008 We have an MDX subforum which has never gotten much activity. I don't think XNA would be a different story. XNA would be included in the scope of "Graphics and Multimedia" anyways. However, I think it would be a very good idea to add XNA to the description for "Graphics and Multimedia." Nate Bross Posted May 20, 2008 Author Posted May 20, 2008 Thats true, most likely because most serious game developers use "gave dev specific" forums, and those who use these are more casual and less likely to come back after a few posts. I wonder how many accounts this forum has with less than ten posts. I think adding XNA to the description of Grpahics/Multi is a good idea too. Possible a sub-forum is overkill.
