I have been using it for years now on both Windows and Pocket PC applications, and never had any problems with it. I highly recommend it over other zip libraries I have come across.

just so you know as well...

 

You can force windows to do it for you.

 

Now granted that provides a little less control, but if the end result is you just want a zip file...

Why they did not provide some API or other interface for this with the CLR I will never know.
