how to use ocr

Please help

I am making my software relating OCR can any expert tell me where to find a freeware OCR command line tool

 

I have tried MODI tool of office but I am not able to include the necessary files in my vb.net project �..(the DLL file is itself not available in my computer)

 

Can anyone guide what can I do�� I have been searching the net for 2 days but I am not able to find a solution��SCREEN OCR is very good but only trail is available for free.

 

If u say to MODI dll files of office then plz tell me how to use it .
