GridView with Paging ==> Update problem!

Without Paging, everything seems fine. But if I activated paging, every time I tried to update with a new value, I would always get the old value back (inside RowUpdating) Here is one of the line:

 

string MaritalStatus = ((TextBox)(GridView1.Rows[e.RowIndex].Cells[8].Controls[0])).Text;

 

I set a break point there and found out the value is not the one I had just inserted. Instead it was the original value. Any clue? (It works without paging though)
