need a web control like winword

i need a control that allows the user to type text, add images, and create links. after the user has done everything, the data will be sent back to the server as stream data.

does it have to be activeX control? any good recommendation?

http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet/controls/editor/overview.aspx is well worth a look - no ActiveX and cross browser support. Online demo and free trial as well.

 

Have used the sharepoint version of this control and had no problems at all.

i want to paste multiple images from the clipboard in anywhere i want. instead of uploading it or just adding a link... i do not think a javascript or ajax editor can do that...
