mike55 Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 I am having a problem with visual studio.net 2005 in that it has become corrupted. I have tried to repair the application using the visual studio.net cd, and I have tried to remove the application using add/remove programs. Neither of these approaches work, is there anyway that I can safely remove visual studio without wiping the entire machine? Mike55 Quote A Client refers to the person who incurs the development cost. mskeel Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Windows has an auto backup/recover function that you might want to take a look at. Assuming you had that turned on before the time of the corruption you *should* be able to roll back your whole OS to, say, the day before and everything *should* be back to working order. From there, you can uninstall and start over or whatever you want to do. I've only tried this technique once...and it did not work for me. Good luck. Quote
