asp.net not working after installing VSS 2005

hi,

 

I had Visual studio .net 2003 .net frame work 1.1.

web applications used to work properly.

But I installed VSS 2005 on my system.

After installing Visual Source Safe 2005 I am not able to open web applications.

I am recieving the following error.

 

The Web Server reported the following error when attempting to create or open the web project located at the following URL: 'http:\\localhost\WebApplication1'. 'HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error'.

 

can any one help me to solve the problem.
