They can get you through the qualifications (normally) but provide absolutely no real knowledge of how to use the products or develop anything with them.

 

Personally I wouldn't employ someone on the strength of a MCAD / MCSD alone, they would need to prove they also had valid working knowledge of the products - you wouldn't get that from a boot camp as a rule.
