Hi,

I just heard from a fellow programmer of VB that Microsoft will not be supporting .NET i.e. it will pull it off and is working on some new technology.

Is it True?

I was planning to learn VB.NET instead of VB6 for one of my projects on hand.

Kindly advise please

Thanks and regards

Fortunately the associated technologies are covered in a public ECMA spec -- hence MS *can't* just take them away. They can stop supporting Visual Studio.NET (highly unlikely) but we'll always have the good work at go-mono.com

BTW. This should be posted in Random Thoughts.

Your fellow programmer might have overheard that a new release of VS.NET is in the making.

Also, MS has stopped supporting NT.

There might be the cause of the confusion.
