The OpenSource community will bring it to Linux and as a result all the *NIXes which is one huge set of platforms, then, in my mind, what's left is Mac, which with their unix underpinnings shouldn't be that big of leap. My guess is that it won't be long (1-2 years) before their's a .NET Framework available for most popular platforms. As far as vender independent, not sure what you mean? Quote --tim
