techmanbd Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 I was wondering if a program was written in Borland C++, If I could take the code files and read the code in .Net? Thanks, Quote Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. Gandhi
mskeel Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Depending on the compiler, you could probably get the Borland C++ code to work with a little tweaking. C++ is a standardized language but there are still subtle differences between compilers such as pre-compiler directives and linking. I have taken code written with gcc and compiled it in MVC++ .Net (not managed obviously) but there were a few little things like how headers were declared that I had to mess with. Quote
