create loading form at start of application

i want design a form that start first and check all files needed and fill mainDataset then visible some controls to contuned application.

when app loading data form is shown.

how can i do it?

maybe i must do it by Thread but how? and where i must use thread?

Look into splash screens. There may be a tutorial here, and I believe that VS comes with a splash screen template.
