wyrd Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 To be honest I don't think Java looks all that great for the future. .NET seems to be going pretty good and should gain even more popularity as it gooes, unless MS does something stupid with it. As for what's currently in demand I'd say it depends on the company, but C/C++ still seems to remain a language that you should know. I don't see it going away any time soon either.
