Cags Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I got up this morning and decided to do abit of programming. I clicked the shortcut on my start menu, but instead of Visual Studio 2003 appearing I was faced with 'The Visual Studio .NET Combined Help Collection'. Upon investigation I discovered that '/helpcol ms-help://ms.vscc.2003' had somehow become appended as an argument to the shortcut. Has anyone got any idea what would have caused the shortcut to change? Because I'm certainly baffled! Quote Anybody looking for a graduate programmer (Midlands, England)?
Cags Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Well for anyone who saw this post and was confused. I seem to have found an answer. Several other items on the 'regularly used programs' list on the Windows XP start menu pointed to the wrong program. Some kind of indexing error seems have have made the items link to the shortcut next to them. Quote Anybody looking for a graduate programmer (Midlands, England)?
