Crystal (VS2003 pro) => Limitations on text fields from a DB ??

Hi people,

 

It seems that Crystal has issues with large text fields. I tried making a simple report from a MS SQL 2000 DB where one of the fields was a type "text".

 

The only way crystal wasn't throwing an error on this report was if I trimmed the text down to about 300 characters...

 

Why won't it take more? Is there a way around this ?
