Heike Posted March 4, 2003 Posted March 4, 2003 Is there some kind of keyboard queue? I am developing a COM AddIn for Word. Now e. g. I press ENTER in one of my forms to start some action. In my code there are some DoEvents and each time this DoEvents is executed and there are still keys in a queue or something like that there is a "pling". Is there a possibility to clear such a keyboard queue if it exists? Or any other idea that may help? Quote
AndreRyan Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 A DoEvents allows windows to post keypress messages as well as paints and other things, I wouldn't know if its possible to clear incoming windows messages though Quote .Net allows software to be written for any version of Windows and not break like Unmanaged applications unless using Unmanaged procedures like APIs. If your program uses large amounts of memory but releases it when something else needs it, then what's the problem?
