VBAHole22 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I see on the MSDN docs where you have a code snippet manager in Visual Studio 2005. But I don't have it. My install went fairly well and it was the most recent available at the time but under my Tools menu I have no snippet manager. Anyone else have this issue? Quote Wanna-Be C# Superstar
Administrators PlausiblyDamp Posted October 25, 2005 Administrators Posted October 25, 2005 Just installed RC1 and it's there on the tools menu - try CTRL K followed by CTRL B and see if it opens then. MXever7 Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 If you don't see it on your tools menu. See if you can add it: Click tools/ Customize. Under Categories, you should see Code Snippet Manager. You can add it to your toolbox from there. Also: to insert a snippet, you right click on the code page and there should be an option Insert Snippet. Quote
VBAHole22 Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 Cool. Thanks for the tips, folks. Control-KB did bring up the snippet manager after about 5 minutes of churning. It comes up faster subsequent times. And I was able to add a button to the toolbar using Customize. Thanks again. Quote Wanna-Be C# Superstar
