I see on the MSDN docs where you have a code snippet manager in Visual Studio 2005. But I don't have it. My install went fairly well and it was the most recent available at the time but under my Tools menu I have no snippet manager.

Anyone else have this issue?

If you don't see it on your tools menu. See if you can add it: Click tools/ Customize. Under Categories, you should see Code Snippet Manager. You can add it to your toolbox from there.

Also: to insert a snippet, you right click on the code page and there should be an option Insert Snippet.

Cool. Thanks for the tips, folks.

Control-KB did bring up the snippet manager after about 5 minutes of churning. It comes up faster subsequent times.

And I was able to add a button to the toolbar using Customize.

Thanks again.
