Firstly a big thanks to all those who have helped me with my questions over the last few months. I would be interested in knowing a bit more about the people on the forum, and I'm sure others may like to know the people that seem to spend all day helping others develop their skills:

So here goes,

Basically, i'm a systems programmer at a large insurance firm. My job requires me to create and support database driven applications, and developing various others. I, therefore, specialise in this area (but would certainly not class myself as an expert yet!)

At home, I create database apps in Visual Basic.net. Mainly fully functional front ends for SQL Server, MS Access and others. I have been doing this for nearly three years (originally using MS Access, then Visual Basic 6 and now .NET)

I have so far created some very succesful reference applications charting the histories of various sporting events allowing users to view endless information and statistics about the particular area. And thats about it really. I hope people will be interested enough to tell us a little bit more about them

Thanks

Does GOAL/D mean anything to you?
