joe_pool_is Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Google has a map of the moon at http://moon.google.com/. When you click on one of the Apollo mission links, a balloon pops up on its coordinates on the map. Does anyone know how to pop up and place a balloon like that? It's a really snazzy effect. That is pretty cool...the source is all put together so I didn't take to much time to decipher but it looks like they just got a lot of javascript in there and some well placed gif's or png's...very cool though...kudo's to them for think outside of the box. mark007 Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 You want to check out google maps - maps.google.com. Fantastic, better than any other online mapping program I've seen plus finds businesses and goves directions too! :) Quote Please check the Knowledge Base before you post. "Computers are useless.
