VS 2003 and ASP.NET 2.0

We just bought VS 2003 and have been working with ASP.NET 1.1 and now we'd like to move to use the Beta of ASP.NET 2.0.

 

Is it possible to get VS 2003 working with ASP.NET 2 Beta 2? I don't want to have to pay just to get the latest and greatest objects and methods.

Beta 2 is free from Microsoft, in order to deploy though you need a go live license, however it's beta, so it's unsupported for one, and two, a lot will change between now and the end of the year when the final product is released. It's not meant for full development yet.

Frustrating. Developers and Microsoft encouraging you to use objects and methods to make your job easier. But not making it easy for you to use the objects and methods. Grrr.

It is not possible to get them working together - VS 2003 is partly based on the .net 1.1 framework, so will only work with that version. Just like VS 2002 can't work with .net 1.1...
