Hi,

I know that you can call one stored procedure from another by using the command

exec "procedure"

My question is, how do I pass the parameters to the second procedure if any are needed?

Am assuming that if the stored procedure returns a single value then I can declare a variable and set the valariable equals to the procedure

Declare @x as int
set @x = exec "procedure"

Add the parameter values after the Exec or Execute procedure statement e.g.

EXECUTE sp_LogError @ErrorText, @ErrorOriginator

I have a stored procedure named sp_LogError that requries two parameters, these have been set into variables as you can see, but im sure you see the process.
