ThienZ Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 if i make a label and set the font into bold, strangely the last letters in the label shrink.... if i make the text longer, only the last letters shrink, the one in the middle not anymore.... see pictures : labelshrink.jpg for .net to compare labelshrink2.jpg in VBA (Excel) any idea...? mskeel Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 There must be a slight variation in the way the label renders fonts in .Net vs VBA. An interesting find, though I never noticed it until you pointed it out. It seems that it bolds in place without regard for the location of letters while the VBA lable keeps a strict pixel distance between letters no matter whether they are bold or not. Interesting and annoying for you, trying to make the best program you can, but certianly not a show stopper. Quote
mark007 Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 Appears to be only the last letters though so seems more of a bug than anything else to me.... Quote Please check the Knowledge Base before you post. "Computers are useless. They can only give you answers." - Pablo Picasso The Code Net
