cincyreds Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 If it were up to me I'd get rid of the "Syntax Specific" forum altogether. I think it's too all-encompassing (almost anything that needs to be done involves syntax one way or another). But the kicker - every post except one since the beginning of the year has been moved. That oughta tell you something - people just don't really understand what the forum is for. Trash it. It'll help keep topics from straying into the wrong area and make a little less work for the admins. Cheers, Dean Quote
Leaders snarfblam Posted April 25, 2005 Leaders Posted April 25, 2005 people just don't really understand what the forum is for Well... I do. And although appearently it isn't getting much use now, If I remember correctly, when I started programming VB I got quite a bit of use in the VB Syntax Specific forum. I'm not saying that it most certainly should be removed, but not without a second thought. Quote [sIGPIC]e[/sIGPIC]
*Experts* mutant Posted April 25, 2005 *Experts* Posted April 25, 2005 We have restructured that particular forum many times, without much success. Neither was there a definitive answer as to the future of that forum. But nevertheless, it is a good topic to revisit. Quote
