TheWizardofInt Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 When I am developing in VS.Net I have a recurring problem where I have to copy the .dll's I am using from its Bin directory to c:\winnt\microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322/Temporary ASP.Net/ and then the subdirectory for the program name I will start the debugger and get the error, I copy the dll, then it will run fine until some other time that i start the debugger. It never happens on the compiled site, so it is more of a pain than anything else, but I was wondering if there was some setting I am leaving out that makes it do this Quote Read the Fovean Chronicles Because you just can't spend your whole day programming!

TheWizardofInt Posted April 15, 2005 Author Posted April 15, 2005 The .dll is usually System.Web.Services but it can drop any of the references I have listed in the bin THe error is a long error message (and, of course, I can't make it do it now, so I can't cut and paste it) centered around 'Publisher not found' Quote Read the Fovean Chronicles Because you just can't spend your whole day programming!

wessamzeidan Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Not sure if it will solve your problem, but try giving read and write permissions to your dlls for the aspnet account. Quote Proudly a Palestinian Microsoft ASP.NET MVP My Blog: wessamzeidan.net
