I want to open I a txt file in notepad. I know how to up notepad. I use the following code:

System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("NOTEPAD.EXE")

But how would I open notepad with a file for example: C:\test.txt

string file = @"C:\test.txt";

if ( System.IO.File.Exists(file) )
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(file);

That will just fire up your default text editor -- whatever program is associated in Windows for .txt extensions.

Alternatively, if you want to use notepad instead of the default text editor (which is usually notepad) you could do it this way:

       System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("Notepad.Exe", Document)
