stustarz Posted February 22, 2003 Posted February 22, 2003 Does anyone know if it is possible to create an update file for an access database that users can download? Quote Visit: VBSourceSeek - The VB.NET sourcecode library "A mere friend will agree with you, but a real friend will argue."

stustarz Posted February 22, 2003 Author Posted February 22, 2003 Yeah! sorry! I have an application that retrieves its data from a Microsoft Access database - when I update the database I don't really want to have to make my users download the entire database again simply download an update file that will amend, add or delect the required records in their version of the database. a_jam_sandwich Posted February 24, 2003 Posted February 24, 2003 You could create a SQL file with all the updates in it Once this file is downloaded. Open and run through the file, running the SQL commands as you go Andy Quote Code today gone tomorrow!
