Help?!! Form designer truncating code.

When modifying in form design mode and switching to code view,..

code in initializecomponent gets truncated.

 

cut and paste operations in editor don't paste in the cursor location.

 

automatic member drop downs are inaccurate.

 

color coded text not working.

 

Has this ever happend to anyone?? Any ideas??? or is my project totally hosed?? :o

Work around for hosed projects

 

don't know what caused the problem in the first place...but here's a work around for hosed projects.

 

I renamed my project folder

then created a new project and added all my references and source code to the new project.

 

it compiles, runs,..and the code editor seems to be functioning as expected now.

 

It would be nice to know if anyone has experienced this or know what caused it in the first place though. Do share if you have any info!! :confused:
