Leaders snarfblam Posted February 14, 2005 Leaders Posted February 14, 2005 I hope i am not missing something particularly obvious but I have installed the managed directx sdk (debug) on my computer even restarted and it does not appear in the list of managed components when I try to add a reference. Last time I installed managed directx i didnt have this problem. Kinda hard to program for directx w/o the reference. Quote [sIGPIC]e[/sIGPIC]
stustarz Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Have you tried actually browsing for the assemblies in the directory you installed the SDK into? Quote Visit: VBSourceSeek - The VB.NET sourcecode library "A mere friend will agree with you, but a real friend will argue."
IngisKahn Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Actually you should browse to the assemblies in Windows\Microsoft.NET\Managed DirectX Quote "Who is John Galt?"
Leaders snarfblam Posted February 14, 2005 Author Leaders Posted February 14, 2005 Ok, i checked and that folder has no dlls in it (is it supposed to). Not to mention i didnt have to browse before. Oh im confused. Quote [sIGPIC]e[/sIGPIC]
ThePentiumGuy Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Odd, see the Introduction to Managed DirectX tutorial in the Tutor's corner and follow the VS.NET 2002 instructions - there's something there about finding an exe in the Debug directory in the place where you extracted the files. Something like that.
