Jay1b Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 The people who own the gym i attend have asked me to give them a price for a website. This proposed website will have to accept payments via PayPal. I havent done any freelance work on webpages before, so i am not entirely sure how long it will take me to do, until i've done it. Could someone please give me an idea of what sort of price i should charge them? And how long it would probably take? (i know this is almost impossible to say, but some idea?) Also has anyone tied a website up to PayPal before? I've no idea how this works and would be grateful for ideas. Thank you. Quote
eramgarden Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I'd say start by asking them the fucntionality they're looking for. Then break down each section , do some research on it. This would give u a better idea.. I think you should add 2 hours to each section-time-estimate just in case u run into any bumbs along the road.. As for charging them..i think it depends on your experince. You might want to see how much consulting firms charge for their contractors and that would give u a better idea. Quote
*Gurus* Derek Stone Posted February 3, 2005 *Gurus* Posted February 3, 2005 Using PayPal as a payment processor is a trivial task. It's possible to have it up and running in under ten minutes. Realistically, adding in PayPal payment processing should take no more than one or two hours. Quote Posting Guidelines
