microkarl Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Hi, I have two dlls, one acts as a Container and the other is a dependancy. I want these two dll communicate to each other, aka, raise events to each other. And I am using LateBinding to call the dependancy from the Container. Is it possible to Addhandler on LateBinding, or some other ways to have these two controls avaliable while use LateBinding. Thanks, Carl Quote Donald DUCK : YOU ARE FIRED!!!
Administrators PlausiblyDamp Posted December 9, 2004 Administrators Posted December 9, 2004 Any chance you could post the code you have so far? Is there a reason you are using late binding as this will greatly increase the complexity involved? microkarl Posted December 9, 2004 Author Posted December 9, 2004 Thanks for your responding, I think it's not possible for me to use LateBinding in my case anymore because the Container.dll will be included into a web page and download to the client, if I use latebinding in this case, I have to specify the path for the child dll (Remember, child dll is still on server side at this point). Which I don't think will be an efficient way to do it. And yes, you are right, it will highly incerease the complexity. However, I heard of a term "MulitModule Assembly" which can embed the dependancy to the Container dll. which might, not sure though, be helpful. Do you know anything about this as I am doing some research on it. Thanks Quote Donald DUCK : YOU ARE FIRED!!!
